People, starting first row left to right are: Harry Bradfield, Roy Virden, Bernard Bailey, Charles Stewart, Ray Stewart, Addison "Pete" Bradfield, Frances Reynolds and Rebecca Stewart, Eva Valentine, Miss Elizabeth LaRue (schoolmarm), Mabel Steere and Grace Steere. (Most, everyone, including the teacher, are related to Bernad Bailey & to me. Jim Bailey) The school was "Grape Island School" north of St Marys, Pleasants County, WV. Grape Island was first purchased by Bernard's gg- grandfather on his father's side, his ggg-uncle on his mother's side, about 1810. (The grandfather & uncle are the same person) Bernard Bailey was a first cousin to my father who was born & raised in East Liverpool, OH. I am interested in any info about Bernard Bailey.
